A lovely and harmonious Pak-Gabbeh. Woven with lamb wool and color fast dyes of Persian green and persimmon. This rug is inspired by several styles. The border shows a Heriz influence, and the medallion and motifs are learned from Kazak rugs, including the stylized camels and peacocks. This rug works well with both contemporary and traditional décors. Recently dusted, hand-washed, lanolin applied, stain proofed, and moth proofed. Donated by Noor Oriental Rugs Inc. toward cancer research, AIDS prevention and care, and educational causes. |
